Phil Scully is a seasoned investor and venture capitalist who co-founded Balerion Space Ventures in 2022. As a General Partner, he brings a wealth of experience from the financial services and asset management sectors.

Previously, Phil was a co-founder and General Partner at Explorer 1 Fund, LLP, where he led early-stage investment initiatives. Prior to entering the world of venture capital, he worked as an equity analyst at DA Capital (Goldman Sachs Asset Management), contributed to the investment team at The Capital Group Companies, and served as an investment banking associate at Credit Suisse Securities.

He holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from Kenyon College. In addition to his professional achievements, Phil is active in mentorship and community outreach, serving as a Big Brother with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
