Daniel Wallman is a General Partner and co‑founder of Balerion Space Ventures, an investment firm focused on space, defense, and dual-use technologies.

He earned his MBA from MIT and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from USC. Before founding Balerion, Daniel served on the business development and strategy team at Blue Origin (2017–2019) and later helped launch Explorer 1 Fund, a venture firm targeting breakthrough spacetech ventures.

His early career began as an aerospace engineer at Boeing, developing systems for space exploration and missile defense. Drawing on this technical and operational foundation, Daniel now helps guide Balerion’s investments, providing deep-bench engineering fluency, systems thinking, and strategic insight to back founders building the space infrastructure of tomorrow.
